Teaching

I also enjoy teaching literature and film courses focused on citizenship and justice. For my work with students, I won Ohio State's highest teaching honor, the Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching.
I love sharing ideas about pedagogy. See, for example, this thread about how to teach Hester Pulter and this thread about my informal survey of surveys. Examples of my students' personal writing about Pulter's poetry can be found in an "Exploration" by Leah Knight at The Pulter Project.
